Thank you for your brilliant insights and ideas. My music and lyrics reflect the same message. In order to advance we human beings need to embrace a dignitarian society. It starts in each and everyone of us, we need to take that responsibility seriously.

Hello!

I just got your book today at a local Columbus, Ohio thrift store, which was way underpriced. I worte a book called "Gangs and Me: A Tale of Terror - My Real Life Story" but unfortunately was in an American Nazi Area and the crooks did not like the book being online, evicted me, and shut my investigative agency which was bieng run out of my house in Wooster, Ohio three years ago. (We in Ohio have a cocaine cult problem which preempted and shut many other things down.) I am seeking grant funding to be able to rewrite the book which was never published, but was online, plus other intellectual property which was ruined and/or destroyed.

I picked up your book based on the egalitarian society concept and noticed that you covered many areas of interest. I like your writing style, which is factual and similar to mine. You could be coming from a sociological point of view, as I tend to, instead of having the educational background listed in your biographical statement. I would like to be put on you email list, if you don't mind. :)

                                    Regards,

                                       Kimberly

As a very small female (4'9"), who works in a male-dominated field (engineering), I have dealt with this subject on an ongoing basis. Unfortunately, the fact that I constantly encounter this phenom doesn't seems to make it any less painful.
Thank you for speaking to a subject that is pervasive and has been largely ignored by the media...the world is crying out for a remedy that will end all this useless, baseless human suffering.

Dear Dr. Fuller,

I apologize for not following up on the email I sent to you last year. If you recall I had wanted to ask you some questions. Mostly I was having trouble understanding the concept of dignity. However, by simply responding to my email and by recognizing my right to self identify as I saw fit, you did answer my questions.

Thank you for your service to me and to humankind.

Your servant,
Payzhannakut

BTW my website is down while I go to a new host.

Congrats to Dr. Fuller, who has found a way to communicate the issue to the public. My life's work is metaphysics, not so easily communicated. Worse, as an independent scholar, you will understand I don't command an audience, especially in the context of rankism.

Nonetheless, thirty-faive years ago I came up with the sociological/anthropological concepts of honor-based and diognity-based, ideas that have gradually surfaces from various unconmnected workers, amongst whom Dr. Fuller can be numbered. Most theorists of the dignity-based culture are legal scholars working on the notions of dignity as inherent (if unstated) in our Constitution (taken as all three documents).

I am the only one to fully develop the concepts in all regards, psychologically, sociologically, anthropologically, metaphysically. The terms I speak of in order to pass along the base concepts are: office and its stewardship. Then I go to honor-based and dignity-based notions of the office, and from there into the honor-based and dignity-based concepts themselves and how they relate to collective behavior and so on.

I have never dealt with the concept of rankism, not because it doesn't have pedagogic value (as obviously it has in the hands of Dr, Fuller), but because is describes rather than explains, and I am pretty strict in my theoretical concepts. But I respect the need to find a way to communicate, and so I am willing to introduce the notion in my writing. Already in a couple articles I have referenced Dr. Fuller (I read All Rise).

I wonder if Dr, Fuller would return the compliment by adding the important concept of the office and its stewardship. Stewardship is a concept churchgoers have been familiar with for a long time. On SSRN (Social Sciences Research Network) I have four articles, three of which deal directly with various aspects of stewardship and office, and there are many articles on the way, given that I discovered the site only three weeks ago, and I have 2,000 pages in drafts. So lots more to come.

The next article focuses on the metaphysics of office with a general theoretical overview--probably the best article of the four on the topic, so you might want to use the ssr (rss?)feature (sp?) to be sure you know when the next article arrives.

The URL is--ssrn.com/author=510356

From there you can view an abstract or download any of the articles. The two on corporate stewardship are intended more as popular, the one on a Trinitarian Concept of Office is a technical philosophical work which is nonetheless helpful for those serious about the topic. It is also a very original piece.

I hope you and yours will respect an independent scholar who is actually an "authority" on dignity-based culture, and would love to work with a fellow traveler in uplifting human dignity and the rights it demands.

Yours affectionately,

Charles

Hi, Mr. Simon - Robert Fuller is out of the country and doesn't have Internet access right now, but I don't think he'll mind if answer this for him. Fuller isn't a critic of rank as an indicator of merit or a sign of earned respect. He is a critic of the *abuse* of rank, for instance invoking rank to gain privileges you haven't earned or exerting power assigned to you for work organization purposes for selfish ends.

I note that RF denotes all his credentials on his bio page. That is rank rankism for those of us without such credentials. Perhaps re-education is in order.

I have just enjoyed Robert Fuller speaking on the Rankism on National Radio NZ. I agreed entirely with his ideas and comments and thank him for bringing topic to the public in such a convincing way. Although it doesn't cover all situations, I would imagine any legislation which includes the cessation of bullying in the workplace, could be interpreted as going a small way to address rankism, but by no means includes the whole philosophy espoused by Mr Fuller.

In my own experience, separating from my husband resulted in rankism. I had no idea that I would become a social outcast because I no longer held the rank of "wife".
