I am so grateful to have seen Robert Fuller interviewed on C-Span this morning and moved to read his book, “All Rise”, and share it with many others as well as speak about Manifest Dignity to support rooting out rankism.

Heard your interview on Philip Adams (ABC Radio) last night and am thinking about using “rankism” in a lecture next year in my introductory social anthropology course here at UNSW. More on that separately.
I started to write the above on the “my story”, but see this is more appropriate. Is the rankism animation available? I would like to use it in part of a lecture, as I wrote above. From the Adams interview, I have enough to put rankism in an anthropological context, but before that I will read the most recent book and find an article I can put in my syllabus. I agree with Fuller that naming something can focus effective action and “rankism”, whilst not elegant, goes straight to the point!
Informative and well-designed website.

I am interested in joining your mission for social reform in community and personal growth. Have you tried to get booked to speak at Book Passage in Corte Madera, Ca? All Best, Jayne

I think this is a wonderful subject you have chosen. I have faced this with my own family.
You cover so many important subjects, I think you should write another book.
One thing I didn’t hear covered is: the voting rights that are taken away from people that have been in prison and have paid for their mistake. I believe this has been done purposfully. Most of those people are products of poverty, insecurity, lack of education.
Thanks so much for being an advocate for the important things of life.
Mary

I am your living proof of your book. My wife and I were hit with a medical problem and job loss, and in our 40’s, after living pretty comfortable all our lives, we lost everything we had, including our house. There were no safetly nets, and no help available. How many others is this happening to? We thought this could never happen in this country. It did. It’s happening right now to people. They project 2.4 million foreclosures in the next year. That’s the tip of the iceberg of people in financial trouble. What are they telling us in the “controlled” news? Right now, they are telling us the stock market is at an all time high.
