Carnival of Democracy and Dignity! (Issue #1)
Welcome to the first issue of the Carnival of Democracy and Dignity!
Democracy and dignity is a very broad topic, and I wasn’t sure what sort of submissions I’d get. For this issue, I’m just going to post everything that was submitted to me to provide both some reference points and to welcome the broadest interpretations possible. Democracy and dignity is about valuing the potential of all human beings, so the bigger the scope the better.
So, without further ado, here’s what people thought of when they heard the topic “Democracy and Dignity”:
The Indignities Inflicted by the Current U.S. Regime
Inflicted on Its Own Citizens as Well As the Rest of the World
Saddam Went to Flight School and All We Got Was 9/11
Obsoleting the Electoral College
Senatorial Censorship Alive and Well?
German 9/11 Victim Defamed in “United 93″ Movie
Democracy != Elections, Modern Democracies areā¦
SLOE/Future (Security, Liberty, Opportunity, Enrichment for the Future)
The U.N. and Beyond: United Democratic Nations
The Philosophy of Dignity
Politics is Philosophy for the Intellectually Lazy
Dignity and Society: the Workplace, Policing, Medicine, and the Environment
Why Police Busts of Potential Child Molesters on the Internet is Wrong
How Do They Use You as a Guinea Pig
Ribble Fishwick Bottoms Clean-Up A Success!
The Human Comedy
Let’s all sing a rousing round of Amazing Disgrace!
Nearly 21 Million Iraqis Not Yet Killed
The Rumsfeld Trap (a haiku!)
That’s quite a spread, and I hope to get this range of submissions for the next issue. Please feel free to leave tips and suggestions, as well as remarks on the various articles, in the comments.

Helping Fuller communicate the importance of the Dignity Movement is Elisa Cooper, who is my co-host on this Blog Carnival. (Issue 1 may be found on breakingranks.net ) […]
